These 10 silver rounds, 1 troy ounce each, were recently minted by Northwest Territorial Mint in Auburn, Washington, one state north of me. They are .999 fine silver. I’m their first owner since they were shipped from the Mint, and I’ve only handled a few of them lightly for taking pictures and carefully packing them. As pictured, they have an American Eagle motif and the National Motto of ‘In God We Trust.’ I’m glad to help you quickly get this precious metal in a smaller quantity than the mint’s minimum order and without a 2-3 month wait. I have great feedback and am a Power Seller. I’m a ‘one man shipping show’ and have shipped over 13,000 things in the past decade, with very few problems. This auction image is a scan I made of rounds from this batch–not an image copied from another site or seller (the fabric in the background is in many of my product pictures). These are not the exact rounds you’ll be getting, but they are all the same, and all brand new. If you get any you don’t like or show flaws or wear, I’ll easily swap out for mintier ones. But I’d prefer to make you happy first time around, and will take care in selecting and packing these. Each round will be individually bagged in a paper coin envelope, securely wrapped, and put in a bubble wrap mailer so there is no clinking or obvious shape. They will ship free domestically via First Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation and Signature Confirmation (provided at my expense, required for these auctions. Please plan ahead so you can sign for it. If the bubble mailer is damaged or empty, don’t sign for it.), and it is fully insured by me against loss in the mail. My free full insurance is better than USPS insurance in that I’ll give a full refund with just a few questions if the item hasn’t arrived in 2 weeks *and* Delivery Confirmation doesn’t show delivery. Both USPS Insurance (about $4.60 on $200) and my free insurance won’t cover theft from your mailbox once the item is scanned as delivered, but with Signature Confirmation, that situation is avoided. I’m much easier and faster to work with than USPS. International bidders, I’m sorry but I’m not currently shipping out of the U.S., as there have been too many difficulties lately. Perhaps again in the future. I do my best to ship ASAP, and ‘within 24 hours’ refers to business day hours, so this is like saying “same or next business day” meaning not on Saturday and Sunday. A few notes on the silver supply Here in Southern Oregon is the same situation being reported most places–coin shops are often out of gold and silver bullion, and when it does arrive, it usually sells within the day at a high premium. I’ve been checking my excellent local coin shop (Linkville Coins) several times a week and buying some of what they have–they are great people and an asset to our small town. I keep a small amount of what I sell and would keep all of it if I didn’t have some important financial goals which still require Federal Reserve Notes (like paying off debt!). Additionally, I’ve realized that as more people buy and hold physical silver, as opposed to paper contracts, the ‘paper game’ will come closer to ending, allowing the spot price to adjust itself to the free market actual demand. Obviously based on eBay bidding, the ‘free market’ has been well above the paper ‘spot’ price and normal bullion premiums, because there is less physical supply than is traded on the charts. Silver ‘Facts’ to Check On I’ve read the following in a few places. If you have contrasting data, please share: 1. There is less physical silver than gold in the circulating bullion market. (I have read a couple places that there are 5 billion ounces of total gold circulating above ground and 1 billion of silver.) 2. Silver is used up and disposed of in tiny amounts which add up to millions of ounces per year, and more is being used around the world in cell phones, music players, appliances, etc. There may be only 18 years of silver left at these rates, according to one source. 3. The next generation of laptop/phone battery, which will replace the lithium-ion batteries is most likely to be the Silver-Zinc battery, which has been used since the first space capsules and holds a greater charge than Lithium-Ion as well. There’s also no fire hazard and they can be recycled for the silver, says Z-Power, the company on the cutting edge of this next battery advance. 4. The definition of ‘dollar’ in the United States was a ‘silver dollar’ modeled on the Spanish Milled Dollar, and the Constitution (Article I, Section 10) still says this: “No state shall…make anything but gold and silver coin a tender in payment of debts…” It makes me wonder what all those federal employees who swear to uphold and defend the Constitution are thinking. They probably haven’t read it! Perhaps We the People should hire lobbyists to represent us to the politicians, or perhaps we should buy billboards the politicians drive by and put the constitution on them in readable chunks. OK, enough chat, time for bidding and shipping! If you have any questions or special requests, please let me know. –Kevin
